1881 Barcelona Gran Rosellon Hotel, Barcelona

My stay at the hotel was lovely overall. The room, although spacious for this touristy area, was surprisingly clean and comfortable. However, it wasn't entirely soundproof, so noise from the hallway and other rooms was noticeable. The double bed was cozy, but the faulty AC posed a minor inconvenience. The room itself was large and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable king-size bed and modern amenities like a wide flat-screen TV and Bluetooth loudspeakers.

Upon arrival, the room wasn't ready, but the staff kindly served us cappuccinos and stored our luggage while we explored the area. The rooms were impeccably clean and impressively spacious, albeit basic. The service was friendly and accommodating, although there was a minor hiccup with the air conditioning issue. The location was exceptional, offering easy access to the Metro station and a plethora of dining and shopping options nearby. The dining experience, while meeting European standards, could use some improvement in variety. Overall, a solid choice with great value for money.
